Hi Everyone! Happy New Year, 2018 here we come.
Only a few hours left of 2017 and what a year it has been, I’ll be writing a post next week about what I wanted to do this year and whether I achieved everything I wanted to…..5 Things I want to do in 2017
This month has been another very busy one. Christmas prep, Disney trip, Christmas and family time. I have lots of fantastic memories and favourites this month to share with you.
Firstly I’ve got to start with the one thing that happened first. Disneyland trip 1st December to 4th December. This actually now feels like forever ago because we’ve had the busy Christmas period! Disney was so much fun but FREEZING cold! It was magical because it was Christmas time, the shows, parades and decorations were beautiful. It was a great trip and if you want to see more photos from my Christmas at Disney trip, check out my post: Christmas at Disneyland!
Second favourite this month would have to be writing my blog. This might sound silly, but I’ve been writing a lot more posts this month for the run up to Christmas. I’ve really enjoyed writing more, so maybe I’ll be writing more posts in 2018.
A makeup favourite this month would be my new ‘Younique’ 3D Fibre Lash Mascara. This product is wonderful. I apply my normal L’Oréal Mascara, on top of that apply the gel from the 3d fibre lash kit. Once the gel is applied I add the Fibres on the lashes. Gel onto that to create ‘fake’ eyelashes. The effect is amazing and you can apply more than one coat of fibres too. It makes my lashes look really long and like I’m wearing fake lashes but I also think that more than one coat can make them clumpy so I just stick with the one coat of fibres. I really love this product and now wear it everyday.
Christmas films have been a huge part of December. My favourites have been Elf (of course) Santa Clause, Santa Clause 2 and 3; Deck the Halls, Love Actually, Arthur Christmas, The Holiday and many more. What’s your favourite Christmas film?
Bath Bombs, Lush Bath Bombs have been a lovely treat this month. If I had enough time to have a bath everyday instead of a shower then I would but I’d rather have an extra half an hour in bed. The Christmas bath bombs from Lush are really lovely this year, my favourite has to be the Plum Snow Bubble Bar. Lots of bubbles, purple water and a beautiful relaxing smell.
Lastly Christmas, spending time with family and friends, presents, chocolates and stupid board games. The highlight of the month and the reason for the shopping a busy build up and it’s all worth it. Now it’s New Year, 2017 has been a quick amazing one and I can’t wait to see how 2018 pans out.
I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and whatever you all end up doing tonight, have a great time and a happy new year to you all!
