Summer Make Up Haul

So can you believe it’s August! Summer holidays for people at school but for most of us we still have to work. I suppose we still get to have a little summer fun. BBQ, catching up with friends and family, enjoying the sunshine, when we get it in the UK. I hope everyone is having a lovely summer so far.

I have been shopping and picked up some new makeup products to try out. I wanted to show you and see if any of you also use these products.

Firstly Bourjois Paris Bronzing Powder, which I’ve seen used in many tutorials and my friends have recommended. I thought I’d give it a try. I am really loving it to, the shade is great for my skin tone and it goes really nicely with my new mini blusher (coming later in the post.) I really like the packaging for this product to and it’s a great size to fit in you handbag or makeup bag to go away with. Some people also say it smells like chocolate and looks like chocolate too.

Next up are some benefit mini’s that I thought I’d try. What caught my eye first was the Dandelion blusher, which I’ve used previously and I really like the light shade. It’s a lovely shade for spring/summer and it’s great for a summer wedding, which I have coming up. The packaging is perfect, I love the mini’s because you can take them with you anywhere and even though they are small they still last a long time.

I also brought a new mini mascara, which I haven’t tried before. A little bit bad gal lash. It’s different than what I’m used to, the wand is huge and I think if I’m going to be using it, it will take getting used to. But it does make my lashes look long. Also because it’s a mini it helps get into the inner corners of my eyes to catch the little eyelashes.

Lastly I also brought a mini They’re real push up liner, which my friend recommended to me. she said it lasts a long time on , I think she’s right. Compared to some other eyeliners I have tried this one does stay on for a long time. the mini is very cute and again you can take it with you but it still lasts a long time. You can also create a thick or thin line depending on what look your going for.

Let me know what you think and whether you have any of these products at home.

I will be posting a summer makeup look soon, using some of these products, so keep an eye out.

Thanks for reading

x
